    Introduction

    In this guide, I’ll show you how to access and utilize the TikTok ads library available in TikTok Creative Center. This allows you to search for and analyze other brands’ top performing TikTok ads to gain insights you can apply to your own ad campaigns. Let’s get started!

    Accessing the TikTok Ad Library

    First, open up TikTok Creative Center. You can access this at the URL tiktok.com/business/creativecenter. I’ll also link it below.

    Once TikTok Creative Center is open, hover over the Inspiration menu button. Select “Top Ads Dashboard” from the dropdown menu.

    This is the TikTok ad library dashboard where you can search for specific brands or product keywords you want to analyze.

    Searching for Ads

    In the ad library, you can search by brand names. For example, search “mvmt” to see ads from the popular watch company MVMT.

    Or search for product keywords related to your niche. If you sell luxury watches, search “luxury watches” to view relevant ads. There are over 500 watch ad results, so view more and scroll through different watch ads.

    You can also filter the ad results by industry, like education, financial services, home improvement, and more.

    Additionally, filter by the ad objective – only view TikTok conversion ads for example. Or, filter by ad duration to see ads of specific lengths.

    Viewing Ad Analytics

    Select “See Analytics” on an ad video to get detailed performance data.

    You’ll see the ad’s CTR by seconds, so you can see when viewers engaged most. Check the conversion and retention rates too.

    Save ads you like, copy the video link, or share the video. This lets you reference top ads later.

    Using Keyword Insights

    Go back to Inspiration and select “Keyword Insights” to see trending ad script keywords.

    View keywords used in top ad scripts and their performance data. See average CTR and conversion rate for keywords like “free shipping” or “swipe up.”

    You can rank keywords by CVR, CPA, impressions, views, and more. Click a keyword for details on the ads it was used in.

    Checking Creative Insights

    Under Creative Insights, read TikTok’s best practices for ad creatives based on top performance data.

    Review key metrics like most effective ad lengths, texts, sounds, and more. Use these insights to guide your own ad creation.
